Help w/ i-touch

    When i insert my headphones into my ipod no sound is heard. If i apply preassure then i can hear somthing..

    but only one the right head phone. When i put in the Itrip, which connects through the charging spot, the music hears perfectly .... what can i do ?

    Have you tried different headphones?

    yeehhh i tried it but it dont work @ 1st i though it was the headphones but no that isnt thw problem either =S

    Have you tried rebooting your iPod like the above poster said?

    Are you sure it's not the earphones?

    Try plugging them into your computer and if they still mess up, then it's most likely the earphones.

    i bought sum new head phones .. they work perfectly w/ the computer but not w/ the ipod. I tried turnin it off -n- on ... or do u mean like actually restarting it all ? \

    did you hold power and slide to shutoff then turn it back on?
    Try that, first. If that doesn't work, then try a Restore.

    If it still doesn't work, then you should return it to Apple because it's a hardware defect.

    Have you tried picking all the pocket lint out of the headphone jack?
