have had my ipod touch about 4 months. I have jailbroke it and now I am experiencing problems.

I first noticed that some of the apps would go to start up and then just return to the home screen every time I tried to start it.

My second problem is that my ipod touch started not connecting to my laptop. It does not make the connected noise, begin to charge or appear in itunes.

My final problem is that it will not go into restore mode! So I am now stuck with a ipod that will eventually run out of battery and will not be able to charge it.

I have tried using different usb ports, usb leads and different computers. This leads me to believe that the iPod is to blame.

    Please help me ASAP.

For your final problem which is charging the battery you could just buy a charger from apple

I would rather fix the problem rather then adapt to it.

Thanks for the advice any way

Don't stress on this. Let the battery drain down. At about 6% or less, it should be recognized by your computer. Then do your typical system restore.

If this continues to happen, you may have a bad ipod, don't laugh it happened to me. Just contact Apple tech support and they will hook you up with an appointment at the Apple Store. They are really good about replacing them when they go bad.

Have you done a jailbreak on this ipod?

Yes I have jailbroken the ipod and I brought it second hand so I am guessing that Apple will not help me in this situation?

The annoying thing is that it has been working fine for months and then this!
