Hi, I have unlock many iphone 2g using the quickpwn method and bootneuter files but for some reason this one iphone keeps on getting "NO SERVICE" or stuck on "SEARCHING..." I tried to restore the iphone to 2.2 and quickpwn with unlock, same thing. Tried updating to 2.2.1 unlock and jailbreak, same results. It found TMobile service once and when I tried to make a test called, signal lost and went back to "NO SERVICE". Does any have any idea what could be the problem or how to fix it? BTW its on Modem Firmware 04.05.04_G if that makes any difference.

Any help would be appreciated Thanks.

the unlock was unsuccessful, and now there is a hardware problem. Not much you can do now

mugen - do you know the history of the phone you are working with? see my thread for specifics on a similar situation.

I don't know 100% history of the iphone but I know i've unlock this phone a couple of months ago and it was working fine. My friend came back to me saying that he gets no service. I thought he did something to the phone so I tried to restore it and unlock but still no service. I'm thinking it can be the communication board since I tested an active AT&T iphone sim card and still receives no signal. Do you mind linking me to your thread so I can read around.
