Hi everyone, I jailbroke my ipod touch 2G 2.2.1 about a week ago. So I was playing a game on my iPod and I decided to turn it off (hold power + home button and slide the red bar). Now my touch won't turn back on no matter how long I hold the home / power button! Also, my computer can't detect my ipod touch. Any help please?

mhm, thanks. I was scared to do that since I though DFU mode would wipe out everything on my iPod. Thanks, and which is better? Quickfreedom or redsn0w? I used quickfreedom to jailbreak my ipod but will redsn0w do that to my iPod?

And why would you turn off your iPod like that? You basically committed Techicide to it...

Just hold the power button and see what happens. Maybe Pein will give it soul back.
