Has anyone heard of this? When I am jogging and start sweating the earphones start to malfunction. The music skips, pauses and rewinds. These are the original earphones and when I switch to the JVC earphones, the problem goes away so I know it is not the ipod.

That's.. weird. I've never heard of anything like that and I don't really understand how damages earphones for your iPod to skip/pause/rewind your music. Just keep using your JVC earphones for now, if it starts again, it's probably a problem with your iPod.

I have apple in ear headphones and the right headphone eventually became silent. Three days after a year of purchasing them. But apple still returned mine no questions asked (no physical damage) and I got a brand new pair!

You can try returning them if the problem isn't solved...

    Stop spamming.

I'm pretty sure it's the iPod. I don't think earphones are capable of changing the music or anything of the likes if it doesn't have anything like that built-in to the cord. Have you tried running with a different DAP?

When i use different ear phones, the problem stops. The original ear phones have the volume control and the voice control on them. The volume control no longer works and when you push the button twice it rewinds the song at like 1x speed. Normally it will skip to the next song when you push the button twice. I am convinced it is the ear phones i was just wondering if anyone else has seen this.
