help stuck in recovery loop

    yesterday i tried to jailbreak my itouch using the quickfreedom thing. so everything went right until it came time to restore using the custom firmware, i used it and i got to where it said it will restart in 10 seconds i waited ten seconds. then it said that my itouch was in recovery mode?? so i restored it and i got to the countdown again and i had to restore again. anyways ive restored it at least 10 times and everytime it just tells me to restore again. please help

    it was the itouch 2.2.1

    Throw that bad boy into DFU and restore...

    Thats supposed to happen! Your just not doing it right. To restore to the custom firmware, press the SHIFT button on your keyboard, then RESTORE in iTunes at the same time, then browse for the Custom Firmware from QuickFreedom, which should be on your desktop. If thats not the issue, then just do a DFU restore and try jailbreaking with redsn0w.

    How do you go into dfu mode/restore?
