    Hi,
My power button's become very stiff and it's often hard to press and lacks "springy-ness" in it.
Is there a way to fix this or do I have to take it to the apple store?

    Thanks

I've had 2 2G's and I've noticed that the power buttons seem to be weak and break easily. There's really not much you can do but send it back. That why I got a refurbished 1G. I love it and the power button still clicks like new. You can hear the click across the room.

You cab check your warranty status at apple's website on the support page.

Yeah, it's usable, but very hard to use - it needs to be pressed extra hard to work.
Do you think they'd replace it for free?

Hmm... You'd have to call and see.

They might blame you on it and say you damaged it over time.
