I keep on getting the "slide to power off" screen every few minutes.
    It is really annoying.
I put it to charge overnight, and it went from 95% battery to 87% due to the damn nag screen.

I had the same problem a while ago before the ipod was even jailbroken.

I turned it off, rebooted, reset all settings, reset network settings, turned off wifi, ssh, etc. Nothing works.

Now that I look at it, it flickers a few times before the "slide to power off" screen appears.

Does anyone have any fix for this?

    Thanks,

Restore, if it doesn't work send it back to apple.

Nah, I remember it being something about the network and safari, or some error in iTunes.

Btw, regarding iTunes, does anyone know where the firmware restore backups, we made before jailbreaking, are stored?
I will try to reinstall iTunes, but I want to save my original firmware backup.

Weird problem there, buddy... If it still persists, you had better send ur unit it to Apple for a more thorough checkup...

Yeah...that doesn't sound good at all and it sounds like a hardware problem to me. I'd take that thing back to the Apple Store.
