my installer was working fine, until one day i try to downloaded an app.

It does this with every application:

I press download, and it downloads, however, halfway through the installation it crashes and goes back to my desktop.

When i go to applications through WinSCP, the folder of whatever app i'm trying to install is there, however not all the files needed for the app to run are there.????

Uninstall a few apps, install BossTools, move your Fonts, Ringtones and apps.

If you move your fonts and apps to the media partition, the problem will not happen again.
