Help! searched and can't find answers

    i have iphone on 2.2 unlocked and jailbroken it works some times then freezes and when restarted it stays in the boot logo. i do not have any apps on it and it is starting to really irritate me. i have searched for almost a week looking for answers.

    countless times. i think i may have found it. after disabling the apple kill switch it has only frozen once after downloading something off cydia

    disregard that it still freezes up

    dfu restore? did it freeze on 2.1?

    yes dfu restore normal restore now back on 2.1 freezing still occurs. it freezes anywhere the springboard, cydia, lock screen. right now it's working but probably sometime tomorrow it'll freeze again.

    Try it un-jb and see if it freezes. You might have a hardware issue.

    thats what i was afraid of
    ------------------double post merged------------------
    found the problem the iphone overheats when used too much or is already hot. although i don't know what is causing it to overheat. any ideas of what commonly causes that?
