alright.. i've youtubed for tutorials and scanned everything on this site for help.. and got nothing.

    I'm currently running Jailbroken 4.0.1 iphone 4
i've been having problems with Cydia, to the point where i need to restore.

before i had any issues with Cydia, i backed up my SSH.

I also have TinyUmbrella and was able to retrieve my SSH Blob and followed all instructions.
    (no luck) error code 3002.

i also have an unmodified 4.0.1 IPSW available for the restore. But again no luck.

how do i restore my current 4.0.1 to the same version?

Well one as jakeman said wat r the problems in cydia, you should jsut beable to hit "Shift+Click Restore" in itunes "Option" for a mac, and locate the file. as long as u edited the host file on your computer to downgrade for bypassing apples signatures you should be good to go

BTW: i've tried doing the SHSH TinyUmbrella on Mac changed the settings for the hosts. and still nothing.

so now i'm currently downloading the ipsw on my PC, and i'm gonna try it again.

I think I had a problem once where no sources were added. All I did was go to "Changes" and hit "Refresh" in the top left. It might not work, I don't think I had the error you're having. But it's all I can think of for right now.

I hear ya, man. Once you find a way, be sure to let me know. I'm not even trying to downgrade. Just restoring the same thing.
