I followed this tutorial on youtube on how to jailbreak the iPod Touch 2G.

And it worked without problems. I'm running Windows Vista 64-bit on my personal computer, so I borrowed a computer with XP to do it. Now, after installing a Cydia app (Winterboard), it made me reboot. Of course, I have to follow steps blah blah to reboot it, but instead I used this way:

Now, I'm trying to do this on a Windows Vista 64-bit machine. This is NOT the computer I used to actually do the jailbreak. I thought I had bricked it, as this was not working on my computer, so I went back to the computer I had jailbreaked it on and ran it and it booted right up.

Question: How do I reboot my Tethered iPod Touch on a WinVista 64-bit computer (NOT the computer I jailbreaked it on) ??

Anyone? Please help...I don't mean to be annoying, but I'm going to have to un-jailbreak it if I can't reboot it on my personal computer.

Make sure LibUSB is installed, and running in compatibility mode (Win XP SP2). Then try the 1ClickBoot Method.

He said 64 bit, even if you run it in compatibility mode, it will still screw up your USB Ports. Look for a way to make LibUSB work. Just search around the forums, and you'll find one.

Ok, I fixed my USB ports!

I just need to know how to reboot a tethered jailbroken iPod Touch 2G on a Windows Vista 64-bit computer. In order to use 1clickboot, you need libusb, correct? And you can't install Lib-USB on a 64-bit OS, or it screws up your USB ports.

I've done a pretty extensive search on here, and other forums, and can't find an answer! Please help! I don't want to have to un-jailbreak my iPod!

    You're not searching right.
Just look through a few of the pages in the Redsn0w section, there are a few guides on how to fix it.

There are no threads that tell me how to reboot a tethered, jailbroken 2G iPod Touch with Windows Vista 64-bit.
