Best idea you had all day. Total Commander and 2.1 is usually an issue. Go here: http://code.google.com/p/iphonebrowser/

This should work like a charm!

Already tried iphonebrowser that program crashes on my vista
are you saying total commander and 2.1 is not compatible?

There is another thing when i was quickpwning i got to the step when you supose to "release the power button and continue hold power for 30 seconds"

the thing was counting down and got to 19 seconds until going to the last step so i stopped pressing home maybe i shouldnt?
but since it got to the next step (before time?) i though i should stop holding home

could this be the reason not everything is jailbreak?

If you could confirm total commander is not compatible with 2.1
then i could try quickpwn again?

I guess i cant quickpwn over a current quickpwn should restore first?

If it was succesfully jailbroken (installer and cydia show up) then you did everything right.
For installer and cydia to show up for me when I jailbreak I always need to replace the mobileinstallation file.
So if you did that and have cydia and installer.
    Then you're good

i think this is because it is a sym link.
try going to the actual applications folder and it should work perfectly

What do you mean sym link?

as for iphonebrowser it does not crash until i plug my ipod in
then i get firewall asking for acess from c:/windows/Microsoft.net/framework/V2.0.50727/dw20.exe
doesnt matter if i say yes or no then program just crash
Dw20.exe is microsoft error reporting tool

As of Total commander where is the actual application folder
it look like it cant be acessed (see photo above)
i even tried reinstalling total commander and t-pot 1.1 but no luck so far

    any suggestions?
