    I take it you're going to be using winterboard then. Put the png's in Library/Theme/'Your Theme'/Bundles/com.apple.springboard

    FSO_CARRIER_IPOD = The springboard carrier (it's got white font)
    FSO_0_AirPort = 0 Bars (on springboard, it's white)
    FSO_1_AirPort = 1 Bars (on springboard, it's white)
    FSO_2_AirPort = 2 Bars (on springboard, it's white)
    FSO_3_AirPort = 3 Bars (on springboard, it's white)
    FSO_BatteryBG
    FSO_BatteryCharged
    FSO_BatteryCharging
    FSO_BatteryInsides
    FSO_BatteryLowBG
    Default_CARRIER_IPOD = The carrier when an app is run (it's got black font)
    Default_0_AirPort = 0 Bars (when a program is running, it's blue)
    Default_1_AirPort = 1 bar (when a program is running, it's blue)
    Default_2_AirPort = 2 bars (when a program is running, it's blue)
    Default_3_AirPort = 3 bars (when a program is running, it's blue)
    Default_BatteryBG = The grey behind the battery
    Default_BatteryCharged = Self explanatory? When it's plugged in and fully charged
    Default_BatteryCharging = Also self explanatory
    Default_BatteryInsides = The colour that shows you how much battery you have left
    Default_BatteryLowBG = The red battery when there is little battery left

    If you want to changing the spinning wheel in the top too you will need to edit the other.artwork

    how about the color of the time? i edited all that u just posted (thanks a TON by the way) but the time is still black and i want it to be white like it is on the springboard (im trying to make all the Default_'s exactly the same as the FSO_'s)

    does your theme have an info.plist? If not open up notepad and put this in it

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

    <plist version="1.0"><dict>

    <key>UndockedIconLabelStyle</key>

    <string>font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; color: transparent</string>

    <key>DockedIconLabelStyle</key>

    <string>font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; color: transparent</string>

    <key>TimeStyle</key>

    <string>font-family: GeorgiaItalic; font-size: 16px; color: white</string>

    </dict></plist>

    <!--key>ComposeStoreIcons</key>
    <false/-->

    </dict></plist>

    You can change the font type (check out which fonts the ipod touch has by ssh'ing into it) as well as the colour and size. I think it's pretty self explanatory but feel free to ask if you get stumped.

    Now to save it go file->save as for file name type "Info.PLIST" and for file type put it as all, make sure to have the quotes. Put the folder into your theme folder.

    Hey thanks for the help Jon, but how do you arrange the carrier images so they can be in the same folder? I got it to work but I had to create 2 separate themes

    I have changed this on my ipod and iphone numerous times but oddly enough since the 2.2 update it does not change now even though I replaced all the images with my own. Even tried to replace the images of a downloaded carrier to mine with no luck. Strange!
