help plz with prep bootlogo

    i found this bootlogo here on the forum but when i try to use it it says its not the proper PNG

    p.s
    1)it had no alpha channel
    2)it was over 100kb
    3)you were right it didnt seem to be in png!

    Not to be a noob, but how do you add an alpha channel?

    I use gimpshop but gimp is almost the same.
    1st you open the pic you want than you press the layers button. After this you right click the background layer and choose add alpha channel!

    P.S it's not as hard as it sounds and your not a noob for asking- in fact I don't think anyone in the world is a noob!(except for maybe zibri) I'm also guessing that the pics worked?

    Simple way. Open up the boot.png or whatever within PwnageTool and paste your png over it, and save it. Don't so Save As.., just simply overwrite the default one. One, it'll be there next time you make a CFW, and two you don't need to do anything else.

    Just a point but this might make the file size bigger won't it?
