Ipod touch is stuck in recovery mode and itunes won't detect it!!

Hi i was trying to upgrade my jailbroken ipod on 1.1.1 to 1.1.4 using ZIphone, it went into recovery mode and it looked like it wasn't doing anything so i unplugged it from the computer. Now my ipod is in recovery mode and itunes wont detect it

Do any of you guys know what to do???
I was thinking about taking it to the apple store but my friend told me if you mention jailbreak they will void your warranty, is this true?

    Thanks,

Your iPod is SUPPOSED To go into recovery mode during ZiPhone....

    To FIX:

    PLUG into COMPUTER
Hold POWER and HOME buttons for 10 seconds
AFTER 10 seconds RELEASE power button but CONTINUE HOLDING HOME BUTTON
HOLD home button UNTIL it shows up IN iTunes. THIS can take up to ONE MINUTE
ONCE it SHOWS up in RECOVERY mode, click RESTORE or use ZiPhone to BOOT into Normal MODE

Try booting it up in normal mode from ziPhone (under advanced on PC or Mode on Mac).

but why would you unplug it
don't you read/ pay attention to the program....

don't go to the apple store, you will get in trouble and not have an ipod at all

    1. plug it into computer
    2. start up itunes, it will give you that message, click restore in the ipod section of itunes

Itunes doesn't recognize it so no message comes up.
i rang up itunes and they said if the worst comes to the worst they will pick up the ipod from my door and replace it.
