Ok, yesterday, i woke up and my iPod touch 2g's touch screen wasn't working. Also, the standby button isn't working. I want to unjailbreak it, but i have a passcode on it and cannot connect to itunes. Are there any ways i could fix this problem? Like restoring without iTunes, or how to get rid of a passcode? Because i want to send it in, and i have a warranty expiring in a few weeks. Everyone is saying put it into "DFU" mode, but i can't because the standby button wont work. Anything i can do

You dont neccasaraly need to DFU it before restoring.
Just Restore like a dummy would, then after it restores and your standby button works, THEN [DFU-Restore]...

only thing i can think of is to let it lose charge then hold the home button while plugging it in to your computer and continue to hold the home button until its in recovery mode then restore.
