Help please

    i have an ipod 2nd gen, i droped it on the sidewalk and the screen cracked and it wont turn on or charge. The screen just stays black. Would i be able to bring it to an apple store and git a new one? Its still under the 1 year warranty???

    Even if it was under warranty, Apple wouldn't cover it because it's your fault you dropped it.

    That's terrible, did you just get the iPod?...
    Your profile says it's the 32GB 3G iPod. That's very terrible.

    I don't think they will.

    Wouldn't hurt to go to the Apple Store and check, though.

    Wow that's terrible.

    If you bring it to Apple they MIGHT be able to fix it (They'll tell you to mail it to them I think).

    But it certainly won't be free.

    can u buy refurbished ipods from the apple store?

    You can on Apple online not sure about Apple stores themselves.

    In some rare cases, they do replace it. Your chance of getting a new one free of charge is very slim, but not impossible.
