I recently Received a 2 gen 32 gig ipod touch as a gift! it worked great for the first few weeks but has no gone VERY black on the screen, almost unseeable. The ipod was not used in any heavy amounts. The screen was never active for long periods of time without rest. all in all the ipod was very well taken care of. It is not the brightness settings, i have checked, and i also did the reset all options thing there to! Again, the screen has gone very very dark, I am only able to pick things out when i strain my eyes alot. Your help would be appriciated thanks alot!

Not a problem. Call Apple and they will get the serial number and take care of it.
