So I managed to fumble through the Jailbreak. Now I'm trying the SSH portion which says:

    16. When you're done, reboot your iPod Touch one more time, then SSH into your iPod Touch from the Terminal by typing the following:
    ssh -l root your.ipods.ip.address

It doesn't say if you need a new terminal window or not. That's what I have open and whenever I put in the info I get
    "No address associated with nodename"

    Is there something I'm missing?

    Thanks in advance!

I was able to install using INdependence, then reboot. You can skip that step, all you are doing is verifying your password. Just make sure you are getting your Itouch IP from the IPod itself (under settings)

Do the SFTP steps to get syncing back, then download terminal from launcher and you can change your password that way, it is outlined later in the instructions.

Worked too, just finding out where the "Applications" folder is to install the "Installer.app"
