I was using my Itouch today and it just froze with a blank screen. Whenever i connect it to Windows is says USB device not recognized. It wont go to DFU mode no matter how many times I try.

It was working fine with Redsn0w with lots of apps for a week now but it has died.

Is it return to Apple store ?

Your probably not putting it into DFU right, try different Boot tools. You might have to put it into a wall charger or a device with a USB (PS3 or XBOX) to charge it for a little while before trying. PLEASE PLEASE SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST!

Might be funny if I was a nooob!

Jailbroken/Unlocked 20 Iphones now I have an issue with these Itouch 2g's

Don't presume everyone is a nooob. There are a lot of these types of posts if you look around. Some are just having problems putting it into dfu mode but some like this one are genuine!

    Device:
    2G iPod touch
i have a method that i think works.
what i do is first i terminate the 2 processes:
"ipodservice.exe" and "AppleMobileDeviceService.exe" from the task manager.
then while my iPod is connected i hold the home and power button for about
6 seconds and then let go both of them, then i hold them both again
and after about 2 seconds or so the message pops up:"the usb could not be recognized...",then wait until it disappears and let go of the power button
then wait until you hear a beep and you can restore.
this method works for me but i do not promise anything,it mighnt now work for you.
    good luck =)

and seriously guys do some searching before you post and you wouldnt get comments back like this.
sounds like your not going into dfu right, try chargin a little with a wall cahrger or xbox as previously explained, then go dfu, and use a 1 click booter. remember, the search tool is your friend, use it pleeeeeeeeeeeeease
