Okay everyone well I need help for jailbreaking my iPod touch. It is a 3G 8GB and I don't understand. I have downloaded the 3.1.2 firmware and every time it says how it doesn't work. Can anyone tell me what to do. Also as of right now I have iOS 4 and I have tried to downgrade a numerous amount of times. Thanks for the help everyone.

You can't downgrade because apple has stopped signing all FW's bellow 4.0. Just stay on there and jailbreak using the www.jailbreakme.com website
