    How are you doing DFU?

    I've tried two ways

1st had it plugged in, forced off, and did the process of holding sleep for 3 sec then both sleep and home for 10, and ending with releasing sleep button for 30 sec. it just remains on the apple logo and computer still doesn't even see it.

2nd i did the same thing but with out it plugged in. it just turns off.

I wouldn't be to worried, make sure you try a few different things as well as DFU mode, such as restarting the computer, trying different usb ports, and even trying a different computer all together while its still in DFU mode. Other wise don't be to worried.

Plug in your iPod to your computer.
Hold the Power and Home buttons for EXACTLY 10 seconds.
After that release only the Power button but keep holding the Home Button until iTunes pops up saying you have your iPod in recovery mode.
