Help on changin unlock slider mask

    I changed the bottombarlocktextmask.png to a clear one but it still stays the same when i respring. I managed to change the slider and text but this one is stubborn. Any ideas?

    are you trying to change the highlight that scrolls through the text "slide to unlock" ?

    where is the slider image located? I am trying to change mine.

    i'm trying to change the dock that the text is on. I'm trying to make it invisible by adding my own clear .png.

    erm as far as i know the thing you are trying to change is in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/ and it is called DeviceLockBottomBarBackground.png

    Well, thanks for your help. I found it but it still won't change to my png. I'm naming my image DeviceLockBottomBarBackground.png and replacing the one in Springboard.app. Its not working. Any ideas?

    try rebooting not just respring

    hmm another idea.
    maybe install transparent sliders from cydia.
    i havent tried it so i dont know how good it is

    no. im not convinced that is the file. i have managed to change the slider itself but i cant change the slider background either. and danwguy, respringing would work.
