sh*t! Basically I have been also been trying to get Islsk to work and have been following the the new instructions that have been posted in the official thread.

The last thing I did was change the permissions of App to 777 and also added the following files to my ipod

    - libncurses.5.dylib
    - libncurses.dylib
    - libncurses++.a
    Into the following folder:
    /usr/lib/

Now all I get when I turn on my Ipod is a list of what seems to be a command code of some sort? Not sure.

Its only small so I will type out what it basically says:

Singleeuser boot -- fsck not done
    Root Device is mounted read-only

If you want to make modifactions to fill es:
    /sbin/fsck -fy
    /sbin/mount -uw /

If you wish to boot the system:
    exit

dlyd: Library not loaded: /usr/lib/lilbnc urses.5.4.dylib
    Refered from: /bin/sh
Reason: Incompatible library version: sh requires version 5.4.0 or later, but libncurses..5.4.dylib provides version 5.0.0

Sorry if there are some spelling mistakes

So ye im actually sh*tting my self now as I seriously think my ipod has been completely fuked over.
    Please help! Anyone! :O

Hmm well by the sounds of it, it was YOU who bricked your iPod..

    What firmware are you?

Place your iPod touch into DFU mode and restore. You can place your iPod touch into DFU mode by pressing a button in ZiPhone or iLiberty+, or you can manually do it yourself. To learn how to put your iPod touch into DFU mode, read my iPod touch Reference thread, the links in my signature. On the reference, go to the 'How to place your iPod touch into DFU mode' section.

yeh... its not iSlsk that bricked your ipod... it was adding those files by the looks of it.

DFU mode is ROM (i think) so you can always get into that.

Ok for the DFU mode, I hold power and home button together then as soon as the apple logo appears I instantly release power/lock button. I do this then the same code runs down my screen :S

Should I have it hooked up to usb when I attempt this? Also the ipod doesnt get recognized by itunes or the cimputer in this state.

    Thanks for your help.

try holding down both buttons even after it has gone off. Just keep holding it. Then it should go into DFU mode.

EDIT: I think you should have the ipod plugged into the computer.
