hi all, ive just recently bought a ipod touch, but for the life of me i cannot connect to my Netgear DG384 as it has a padlock icon next to it on my touch, it says it requires a password, would this password be the same as the one i would log into my router ?? if that being the case it still will not connect. also ive tried connecting to the net via witherspoons, i had a full signal there but it kep saying unable to find or connect to the server. Im pretty much clueless regarding this, so any help would be greatly appreciated. i have read quite a few post on these forums but for most of them i may as well be reading chinese lol. I also would be very greatful if any answers to my post could be made in layman's terms .. ive done an ipconfig with the results of this ............

    IP Address: 192.168.0.2
    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1

    many thanks in advance.

Whatever WEP key you entered for the WiFi should be it. Unless you've never set up the router. Now is a good time.

obviously it is wireless if your touch detected it

DG834 is not a wireless enabled router... if you are seeing Netgear then chances are it is a neighbour or a house nearby
