    Hey guys,

I'm really stuck and searching, googling for days and couldn't find a solution. I'm not sure if there's a solution but let me ask you too.

I was running on 3.1.2 with a 3GS new bootrom.
I had Geohot's blackrain for a few months without any problems.
But suddenly it got stuck at Geohot's face when tried to reboot with blackrain.
I couldn't get out of it.
I'm trying tp restore my phone back to original 3.1.2 but cannot do it.
I thought I had SHSH on Cydia, I remember I applied but the Umbrella isn't grabbing my ECID.
I tried TinySHSH with an 3.1.3 but it didnt work. I had a lot of errors while trying every solution. 1600, 3001 etc.
So I cannot do anything with my phone and its not bootable at all.

I don't want to upgrade to 3.1.3 because I need unlock.

My only hope is I'm still at 3.1.2 and there might be a way to save the phone.

Thanks in advance for any solutions. My email is ozgurg@gmail.com

Check the error codes it might be your iTunes and not iPhone mine done that recently and it was my iTunes that was faulty

    itunes 9.0.2.
I'm also trying a customised firmware and the error code is 1600.
    I'm pointing the apple.gs to 127.0.0.1.

If you're positive that you have you SHSH blobs on Saurik's server then edit your host file and put Saurik's i.p. at the bottom and just restore to the stock 3.1.2 firmware and jailbreak and unlock again.

If he had the 3.1.2 SHSH blobs on Saurik's server then he should still be able to restore to the 3.1.2 firmware if his host file points iTunes to Saurik's server instead of Apple's server. But to answer your question they did stop signing the 3.1.2 firmware a long time ago...

I remember I've applied to register SHSH from Cydia, selecting make my life easier. So it should happen. But even though I point it to Cydia servers, the restore is not successful with the message "you're not eligible with the update".... I tried both the restore mode and the dfu mode, and two different IP's of Cydia. Any ideas or solutions?

Hmm.. When did you click the "Make My Life Easier" button in cydia because Saurik stoped backing up the 3.1.2 FW and he's just backing up the 3.1.3 FW SHSH Blobs now.

Put into DFU mode and try to restore with your 3.1.2 blobs? Assuming you saved them locally.

Why cant u update to 3.1.3 and JB with Spirit. You will get a untethered JB!!!

Edit: If u have used any unlock, then my suggestion wont work.
