    Hi ,

    Currently my itunes library is on a desktop Pc.{windows vista}

    I want to now only use my netbook. {windows xp}

    I kept all my music on an external hard drive.

    Will I be able to download the current version of itunes on my netbook, and then authorize it.

    Then hook up the external harddrive and drag and drop my chosen music into the new library on my netbook.

    When I then hook up my ipod touch to sync will I then be asked if I want to transfer my purchases.

    These consist of a couple of videos, app's, and the new software that apple released for the ipod touch. My version is a 1st generation.

    Have I missed anything ?

    just copy all your itunes stuff to a external memory source then download itunes to your laptop. then authorize it with the same account on the computer to the laptop then copy your stuff from the computer to the laptop.

    You can authorize up to 5 computers I think. So it should work.
