I've just jailbroken my 2nd Generation iPod Touch, but when I did, the device wouldn't turn off and internet won't work at all.

I've followed all of the directions from Redsn0w, but when it said to open up Cydia, download the latest update, and then watch as everything should be working, It wouldn't actually load the main page/updates from Cydia. My internet isn't working at all on this device, even though it has full connection (I've checked the post explaining this; no help). I'm thinking of restoring it or putting it in DFU mode, but it won't turn off manually or through iTunes.

    Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I recently just found that I accidently skipped over the topic where you can force your iTouch into recover mode, and that seemed to do the trick!
