Ok So I Im doing the process of Jailbreaking my iPod Touch 2G and Im at the part where you restore the iPOD with the patched FW. it is done but it shut off after It was done installing the Custom Firmware. Now It wont turn on at all, If i hold just the sleep/wake button or if i hold both the sleep/wake button and the hold button. When i plug it into PC it says they're is a problem and Computer cant detect it so i cant restore. It wont go into DFU Mode and it does nothing when i plug it in. Please help. so Im gonna rstate what have tried so people dont go and say "Try This".

What I Have Attempted to make it Boot:

    1. Hold Just the sleep/wake button
    2. Hold the sleep/wake and hold Home button
    3. Just Hold Home Button
    3. Put it in DFU Mode

All attemps failed and I am really scared. This is like no other post cuause if i search this topic it has lots of threads like "My Ipod Wont Boo" and many other, but all of these just end up as a "Hold Sleep/Wake + Home but this doesnt work on mine.

I Thank You For your Help because I Will Be screwed If I cant fix

I think its because you haven't put it in DFU mode. Plug iPod Touch in PC it will say unrecognised, hold Home and power button until you hear the windows sound like the device has been taken out of usb (around 10 secs) and then let go of the power and keep hold of home button until the PC recognises its in DFU mode (around 8 secs).

You have to put it in blindly. It make take a few times but it will go into DFU mode. It's impossible to brick.

Cool I'm glad you were able to get it. I think they stopped the rep system.
