Just today I went to put a new album on my Ipod Touch and the newest firmware has my Touch stuck in recovery mode. I usually get Unknown error (13) or (14). Now a while back I put that Jailbreak on my Ipod then got rid of it quite a bit ago (Probably a little bit after the first release). I've tried EVERYTHING on the net to get this thing to update and haven't had ANY luck AT ALL! I've been trying for about 8 hours to get this thing running again but no luck.
    What Ive tried:
Hold power + home, release power yadda yadda yadda. NOTHING.
    Another comp: NOTHING
    Different USB ports NOTHING
    Install latest USB drivers: NOTHING
    Uninstall-reinstall Itunes: NOTHING
    Old iTunes version: NOTHING
    Ibricker: NOTHING
Im running Windows Vista 32bit with the latest updates.
    HHHHHHEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP

Oh and when I go to restore the touch in itunes it shows the bar then quits with the error about a 1/4 the way thru.

    Try replacing the battery.

If you correctly put your fully charged iPod Touch into DFU mode and tried to restore to a clean current stock firmware (with no backup) from the latest version of iTunes and it didn't work then you probably have a hardware issue... sorry
