You're Jack Bauer. Go torture your iPod until it starts working out of fear

Seriously, make sure you're doing DFU correctly. You might need a timer to time it.
    5 sec power
then hold the home button too
    10 sec
then release power button and wait up to 30 secs

If it's not a hardware issue it should work

If its bricked then why would you ask for help? There is nothing you can do. You can restore it your just not doing it right.

what did you install to go into the apple logo? To go into dfu mode, connect to your computer, hold the power and home button for 10 seconds, than keep holding the home button until your computer regonises your ipod

DFU+Restore will ALWAYS work. It's a hardware fix, and "bricked" is a software problem (unless, of course, you physically damaged it).

"bricking" a ipod happens 0.1% of the time, I guranteed you can DFU-restore it, if someone says their ipod is bricked, god kills a cat

I thought bricked is hardware, and DFU restores the software.
