Ok, well I went to listen to some music and it said go to itunes and install music. This has happened before and I had to restore. But now when I plug it in my iPods name is now "Mikey's iPhone" First of all, my name isn't Mikey, and I dont have an iPhone. Even on my iPod when I go to Settings-General-About it says Mikey's iPhone as the name. In itunes it shows all my music and videos as in the "other section." Please help, I really dont want to restore.
This must have happened after I did the tap to unlock thing.

I'm on 16GB iPod Touch running jailbroken 1.1.4 via Ziphone 2.5C
    Also Windows XP

Edit: Solved. Others with the same problem may want to look here though.

have you tried to go to settings > general > reset? i'm not sure if that really affects the music you have loaded and what not but i guess it would be worth a try?

anyways, have you been plugging your ipod into a friends computer where perhaps it could have been overwrite sync(ed)? perhaps a friend named Mikey...lol

I suspect since you are running 1.1.4 you used a jailbreak method that had been customized for someone elses ipod or something to that degree...

and you are running the latest iTunes version correct?

other wise, I agree just wipe the thing...
