I just bought MobileFinder.app[yes I support the developers] and made it read the root or the ipod file system, But every time I try to copy a png or image from one directory to another I get this error.

its because apps are allowed to READ the ipods filesystem, but not modify it.

wait...how did you make finder read your ipods filesystem?! are you jailbroken or am I missing something here?

if you did it via jaiblreak/ssh, its probably because of limitations in 3rd pary apps not letting you modify the ipods filesystem. although I remember on 1.1.4 I had to change permissions on one of the files for finder.app for it to work properly...

EDIT EDIT: ok I see now. ok so since I have yet to re-pwn my ipod with the new firmware, post a question in the jailbreak section. youll get a better answer...

I am experiencing this too. I downloaded Naruto manga and wanted to move/copy it to the Comic folder so iComic can recognize it but I get error 513 too. I can copy/move to any other folder though.

    Any ideas?

berky93 is right, you can't modify file whic is located outside the mobile/applications/[what ever mobilefinder is located in]/documents

Then MobileFinder is still useless even with the hack to see all files. Is there no way around this? It would be good if I can download and view comics right away without having to move them via SSH.
