If this isn't the correct section for this, could someone just tell me and move the thread instead of yelling at me? I just wanna solve this problem with my ipod so I don't have to buy a whole new one.

I recently installed the gameboy4iphone on my ipod touch. My ipod touch has firmware 2.2.1 and has been jailbroken. I was in the usr > lib files and accidentally deleted the libgcc_s.1.dylib file from there.

Now all I can really do is turn it off and start it back up just for it to sit at the start up screen with the little apple.

Is there any way I can fix this problem and put another copy of libgcc_s.1.dylib on my ipod? I've tried DiskAid but it won't recognize my ipod as even being connected and I obviously can't use SSH to get into the files either.

Basically right now, I see it as I'm SOL so if anyone can help out that would be great.

I would restore it if my computer would even read it.

Thank you very much. DFU mode worked perfectly and I have to start all over but that's way better than buying a whole new ipod. lol
