@stevenplanet:can you go into dfu because you might have to restore it that way the guy who made that guide was being a jackass and giving people a command for terminal that will format your ipod/iphone completely so hopefully you can go into dfu

If you completely formatted I don't think you can go into DFU mode, I hope you could though. Try holding Home+Power for more than 10 seconds.

Look at the tutorials on how to get it into DFU mode, as you damaged your Ipod when Jailbreaked it most probably have a voided warranty unless you restore.

If the guys at the apple store can't get it to work they will most likely give you a new one since you are under warranty.....otherwise it sounds like there really is nuthing else to do.
that guy is a real asshole doing that for you.

I like how he told you to login as root, and the do sudo rm -rf /

You don't need to do sudo after you login as root; it's redundant.

Plus, 90% of people don't have sudo, so it would totally fail.

OP: You're an idiot. sudo = do it, no matter what, rm = Remove, -rf = recursivley (all files inside folders), / means starting at root, meaning you just deleted most of your iPod.

You could just take it to an Apple store and have them do it since you seem to have trouble following directions. There's nothing left besides stuff in the Boot ROM, so they'd never know it was JB'ed.
