    Ok so my friend has jailbroken his touch in February and recently he told me that when he turns on his ipod it stays at the boot logo. and i tunes wont recognize it. what can he do to fix it?

    it wont do that either. itunes wont recognize it and we cant restore it by holding home and power buttons.

    Try reinstalling iTunes or using another computer.

    DFU. Be very exact with timing. You can always get into DFU as it is in the hardware, not the software.

    Shift-click restore.

    none of those work. it still wont work its stuck at boot screen, wont dfu and wont connect to computer

    Well, really, trust us. You just need to keep trying to get it in DFU mode! That happens, just try lots of times. Be exact about the seconds.

    It HAS to go into DFU mode. As was said, DFU is a hardware thing, and not software. No matter how messed up your iPod is, it will go into DFU mode.

    Got to smellmysock.com/DFU.html for assistance with counting. Zod failed no one.
