Simple answer: jailbreak = worth at least a try. Some love jailbreaking, others don't see the point, it all depends on you. If you read all the guides here on the forum and don't attempt things you're unsure about, your iPod will do just fine with the jailbreak. The lag is minimal if you know what you're doing. Give jailbreaking a shot and if you decide you love it, great. If you don't like it, just restore and you're good as new.

i want to do it so bad, but if there are a lot of negative effects behind it. i don't wanna do it. so i will see if i jailbreak my ipod. first i need to wait for tje ipt2g jailbreak :/

    kisses from me!

did you guys ever found negative effects after jailbreaking your ipod?

i hate slow things. that's why im concidering not to do the jailbreak when it's out.

If you know what you're doing, jailbreaking is perfect. I've never had any ill effects from it.

Personally, I've never experienced any problems because I research as much as I can before I do anything just to make sure I won't screw it up. Problems related to jailbreaking are most often caused by the user, not the jailbreak itself.
