    For me its a emergency!!! What if i disconnect my shiny new 2G ipod touch for charging battery??? (If someone asks, yes its new, just out from the box) PLEASE!

    i dont understand what your saying. nothings gonna happen if you disconnect it even if the battery is not 100% charged. if It's syncing with itunes, then leave it plugged in. but other wise your just scaring yourself.

    i just freaked out because my friend scared me. He said if i disconnect it from its first charge of battery the battery life will be like in 10% or something

    Old rechargeable batteries do that. The Touch has a Li-On battery so you can charge it partway.
