After i jailbroke my ipod touch 2g, in iTunes, it says "others: 384 mb" Why is it this big? I thought that it was normally only 200 mb!!! It's getting bigger and bigger, should i remove the jailbreak?

Also...you know sometimes, when i'm downloading an app from Cydia, a message suddenly pops up saying "Host unreachable" or something...so i am stopped halfway through the download...does that mean that the half downloaded file is somewhere in my iPod, or is it automatically deleted by Cydia?

wait a second, if Cydia is adding the applications to my applications folder, that means if i install a 50 mb app, i use 100 mb of my iPod? That is stupid...

well, the 50 mb will add 50 mb to the "Applications" sections, and according to your information (thanks btw), it should also add 50 mb to others?

nooo there are two application folders
(not 100 percent sure, 99.5 percent xD)

one is for all cydia /preinstalled iphone apps = others
two is for all apps you add through itunes(app store) = applications

you add a 50mb app through cydia it goes in one
you add 50mb app through itunes it goes in two

The other day i turned on my ipod to find all my music and video's had changed into "others". All 26 gb of it. I know of other instances of this but couldn't find a way to fix it. had to reinstal everything.
