Help me with FTP pleas !

    Hey,

    I wanna run Nes,GBA games on my Touch .. but !
    I need help with FTP , i use Total Commander , this is what i do ,

    Session : Ipod Touch
    Host : 192.168.2.167

    username : root
    pass : alpine

    if i connect it says : timout !

    What did i do wrong ??

    i have a Secured Wifi

    double check you IP address

    go to wifi/then to the right of your wifi connection will see a arrow
    tap it then you will see you Ips address

    make sure it is the same as what you have input in the program
    mines changed on me once and i got the same error until i corrected my Ip address

    Got the same problem, gonna try out another wifi network tomorrow, and see if that works!

    are you sure Ip is the same as inputed in the program ?
    I haven't used that program

    here's the program i use Winscp
    and install guide can give this a try

    just notice this maybe if you drop security for a sec and see if it connects
    still a NoOb just trying to help you learn by doing and you learn from others mistakes

    Il try another FTP client, It works ! thanx , just use another client thanx !

    Congrats. Probably the FTP tried connecting through port 20, while WinSCP connects to your iPod Touch through port 22. If you still have your old FTP client, try connecting to your iPod Touch through port 22 and see if this works.
