I have a big problem! My friend?s iphone have a few problems!

    First:
The iphone does not charge with the plug AND usb!
The problem is not the computer, either the cable or plug, because I have tested with my iPhone, and everything works!!
I can only charge the mobile with JLB On Stage!!

    Second:
I think that maybe the computer can recognize in recovery mode, but...
I cannot put the iPhone in recovery mode by these 3 methods:
    1-home+power, home..
2-turn-off the phone, and connect it with the usb with the home button pressed (neither in JBL instead of the computer)
3-With any other computer program, because the computer does not recognize something

I can use the phone on the normal mode, so I can install any iphone?s program and connect with ssh!

I don?t know what I have to do!
    I don?t know if it?s a hardware problem!

Do you know any other method to put the iPhone in recovery mode?
Can I put the phone in recovery mode with ssh or terminal v100 or any other iphone program?
Can I restore the phone by any iphone program?
    What can I do?

    Tks!

It sounds like one of the pins in the bottom has broken. If he takes it back to apple, they will replace it.

hmmm see you have a problem here, because you cant restore it, and you need to replace it from Apple. Therefore, try and put it in DFU mode (google ipod touch DFU mode) then try and connect to your computer again. If it dosnt work, take it into apple and hopefuly, they will have to restore before they can get it to work so there will be no trace of the jailbreak.

yeah, unless you want to try and brick your ipod. Use pwnage and pull out the usb while its flashing the bootloader. But use that as a last resort.
