Restore is the only thing that i know of too.

I also need help. I jailbroke my ipod 32gb 2g ipod touch. With some problems with it, i restore to factory settings. Everything worked. Recently, there was the firmware update. I did that and when i tried turning on my ipod, it said connect to computer (the chord pointing to the itunes icon.) I tried to restore but it keeps telling my error 6. I cant re-jailbreak it either. I get error 14.

Can anyone help me? Ive tried 3 computers (all xp/vista) and several different chords.

    Thanks in advance

Since its only in your laptop that you are getting the error, have you tried re-installing "iTunes" on your laptop ?

EDIT: Try with an older version of iTunes on the laptop! If all Fails.....you have no other choice but to restore.
