i have a ipod touch that appears to be frozen and have been trying to fix it for days. the problem is that i can not get the apple logo screen to go away. i have tried the following- letting the battery run out
    - holding down the buttons
    -restoring it through itunes
it syncs up with itunes just fine nut like i said i can not get the apple logo screen to go away

You restored it and it still froze? The apple screen is when you boot it right? Are you on semi-tethered jailbreak?

one of the trouble shooting tips i read said to hold in one of the buttons until the red slider appears......the slider does not appear for me. also from time to time the apple logo has a circle on the bottom half which looks like it is loading or something(does that make any sense)
