Ok.... so i Jailbroke my iPod Touch 2g about a month ago, and had rebooted it 3 times already, but the last time i tried to boot it, i did it just like usual, and it wouldn't work..... but this is the first time that i had actually turned it off instead of it dying on me. iTunes does not recognize it in recovery, or anything.

I have tried to boot it, re-jailbreak it, and I cant because it wont go into DFU mode. The screen is black and I get the little new hardware found sound when you plug it into your computer, but it won't go into DFU, recovery, restore or any thing for some reason. The buttons are completely unresponsive. I Can' send it into apple because i didn't buy the warranty and it has been over 90 days since i bought it. also they probubly wouldnt fix it because i have jailbroken it. Is there any way to put it into DFU without the buttons? or any way to boot it, Jailbroken or not without it being in DFU mode?

    hey
I think you ipod is fine
It probably is just out of power and needs a recharge so
1 connect it in the pc via usb
2 leave it for a hour or so
    3 boot it
    4 then continue the charge

Yah I would try charging it, maybe all the attempts to put in dfu and all wore it out.

Keep trying DFU mode, your iPod can still boot into DFU mode even if there is displayed on your iPods screen. Just keep holding down the home button and see if you hear the plugged in USB sound.
