help me please ipod has no backlight

    ok so i have an 8gb ipod touch the back light was working just fine then i locked it and put it in my pocket it was a little damp but the screen was facing the inside of it and when i took it out and unlock it the back light wouldnt come on

    I had this too: it's a bug..
    It can only be fixed with DFU mode and than restore!

    Go To Settings, then click General.

    Turn up your brightness, and turn off auto-brightness.

    You see: only dfu restore works, of you don't want to search what dfu is, than just try to restore it!

    i dont think its a glitch something must of shorted out when it got wet

    Just try Restoring and set it as a new iPod.

    If there is still a problem, you're out of luck. Apple doesn't cover water damage.
