before i reformatted a few months ago, I dragged a couple things into my ipod touch from the "my computer" thing. now im trying to get those things back but there is no ipod touch icon when i go to "my computer", i looked around and it said to enable disk use to get the icon to show up but itunes doesnt have that option anymore.

The iPod touch has never had disk mode, unlike other iPod models.

You can also try SSH-ing into your ipod to get the files which is pretty much the same as it showing up in my computer. quote me if you need help.

What kind of iPod do you have?

The 100.3 MB sounds like system files.
