Well... It seems that if I try to restore... it goes through everything, and then says Cannot restore with an error code (9)
It is jailbroken. Ipod touch, 1G.
It shows the Russian Guy on it. I have tried everything. Reinstalling itunes, Trying to update through the alt select restore method. (This comes up with error code 1403) If anyone can help, I would be GREATLY apreciative. Thanks.

Maybe you should just hit restore and not worry about the alt/restore method.

Just try putting it into DFU mode and try to jailbreak it again...

I have tried to just hit restore. It downloads the update, and then gives me "Updating and restoring" And then it comes up with that error 9.

Yay! Fixed it. Here is what I did. I somewhat followed Elajes. What I did:
    1. First I pressed restore in itunes. I allowed it to DOWNLOAD the 2.2.1 file. Not restore it!
    2. Then, I went to Pwnage Tool and Used that on the file.
    3. Went back to Itunes, used the Alt Click Method on Restore, Chose the file.
    4. It restored.
Why the jailbroken file would work and not the normal one? No idea. But hell, I am happy to have it back.
