so my friend jailbreaked my itouch and showed me step by step on how he did it, but when i came home and tried syncing it to my computer with my music in it, it wouldnt. But for some reason it was able to sync with my laptop and other computer. So I just out of instinct, did a master reset (erasing all data and music on my itouch, not on itunes). During 70% of the process my itouch turned off. Now everytime I try putting it in DFU mode I hear two consecutive beeps instead of the normal one beep.

    HELP!!!

    Just let it charge then?
Try again after you let it charge for a half hour.

Just to make sure you not in DFU go to Control Panel>system>Hardware>Device Manager
scroll down, expand 'Universal Serial Bus controller', the 1st one should be 'Apple Recovery Device (DFU)' or something like that.

ok i found out the reason, you can't currently hack the itouch2ndgen on a vista 64-bit. I did and my computer turned blue screen and had to system recover it
