So, I can turn it to sleep mode and turn it off but i can't turn it on if i jailbreak unless i use 1clickboot or a manual program? Please explain the whole process as I am only thinking about jailbreaking this whole time.

You should jailbreak if you really want to but I would wait until an untethered jailbreak comes along (if it does).

And no matter if you jailbreak manually through command prompt or use tools, you'll have to keep your iPod touch turned on to keep the jailbreak. Turn it off, loose the jailbreak.

    And all the Cydia Apps....?

Don't you HAVE to reboot for some Cydia apps to be completed?

    Gah, this is confusing...

You don't lose the jailbreak really.. Well you do, but you keep the Custom FW.. Nothing gets deleted, you keep everything, except the option to reboot until you've used a boot program.

the only cydia app that needs a restart as far as i know is winterboard. so JB it, install winterboard, reestart and run the boot patch, and then youre good. just leave it switched on.

if it gets switched off or freezes all you got to do is plug in to your pc and run the boot patch again. no problem

Gah, I'll go sync my ipod now with my mom's computer (so i can sync my music and apps back up if i decide to restore) and get jailbreak i guess.

Then i will wait patiently for the full version so we can reboot.

If you don't want to, don't. If it's gonna confuse you and stress you out I would just wait.
